We are looking for subcontractors and vendor/suppliers with knowledge of space, defense, and critical mission areas within the Department of Defense and have a reputation for providing outstanding customer service. We utilize several different types of contracts including, but not limited to, staffing augmentation, niche, engineering support, software management and facilities general contracts. Subcontracts are in the form of Firm Fixed Price (FFP), Time and Material (T&M), Labor Hour (LH), and Master Service Agreements to name a few.

The IRES contract's Small Business Division (SBD) visited Redstone Arsenal in Huntsville, Alabama to recognize and present the small business (SB) award for Outstanding Service & Support to Black Rock Technology Group (BRTG) for FY24. BRTG has been supporting the Missile Defense Agency (MDA) since the start of the contract. Their dedication to the mission is outstanding. This is why BRTG received this year’s SB award for outstanding service & support. This is an annual award presented to small business organizations that exceed in all areas of support and services to the IRES contract in support of the MDA mission.
Amentum Missile Defense Group presented American Wordata (AW Data) with the "Small Business of the Year" award at the Annual IRES Small Business Awards Ceremony. AW Data is an Economically Disadvantaged Women Owned Small Business (EDWOSB) that continually provides outstanding support and service to the IRES contract. The company is a valued partner on our most critical projects and always goes above and beyond to ensure success.
IRES hosted the first IRES Small Business Awards Ceremony, honoring two outstanding small businesses that provide high impact innovative solutions and unwavering support to IRES and the Missile Defense Agency. Besides IRES leadership, Mr. Troy Mitchell, Deputy Director of Missile Defense Integration and Operations Center (MDIOC) Contracts, was in attendance for this important event. M2 Technology, Inc. received the IRES Small Business Outstanding Solutions award for their lightening response to inquiries, quote requests and budgetary estimates. They provide innovative solutions for some of the contracts most complex projects and are always available to answer any questions or concerns regarding those solutions. Epoch Concepts received the IRES Small Business Outstanding Support award for their consistent support to multiple baseline Operations and Maintenance projects, for always ensuring critical vendor and industry subject matter expert engagement, and consolidating service agreements and license renewals along with advanced forecasting and tracking of those agreements and renewals. IRES will continue to honor small business partners in future awards ceremonies.
