Jacobs is the prime contractor for the Missile Defense Agency's (MDA's) Integrated Research & Development for Enterprise Solutions (IRES) contract, providing integrated solutions to support the concurrent test, training and operations of our nation's missile defense systems. This work is accomplished at several MDA locations to include the Missile Defense Integration and Operations Center (MDIOC) on Schriever Space Force Base in Colorado Springs, Colorado, the Von Braun Complex on Redstone Arsenal in Huntsville, Alabama and the National Capital Region (NCR) in Washington D.C.
Mission: We are one of the most critical contributors to our nation's defense against missile attack.
Technology: The systems we support detect missile launches halfway around the world, track those missiles with extremely high accuracy, and intercept at closing velocities of many miles per second. This is all done through adverse weather and sophisticated enemy countermeasures.
Opportunity: Team IRES boasts over 1,100 members across multiple locations and continues to grow. Execution of this mission requires a wide variety of skill sets, and we are constantly in need of individuals who have the capability to step up and take positions of greater authority and responsibility.
